Abstract
This article presents the vision and accessibility level model for the Model Mental Health State Plan (MMHSP) of Services for Persons who are Deaf or Hard-of-Hearing. The final document will be made up of guidelines, recommendations, and resources which will help states evaluate existing services, develop new services, and develop a state plan to meet the treatment and accessibility needs of citizens who are deaf and mentally ill. The document is being developed by the Model Mental Health State Plan Subcommittee of ADARA's Mental Health Section.
