Dr. Rafael Gonzalez serves as the Chief Development & Science Officer for RESTEM Group. He obtained his Ph. D from the University of California, Irvine where he studied, and his thesis addressed interactions of the immune system following spinal cord injury. He has extensive experience in cell therapeutics and has developed various therapies in the context of immune health.
Dr Gonzalez has extensive knowledge in all aspects of cell biology, regenerative medicine and the key to longevity, maintaining immune health. He has several patents and leads multiple clinical studies with patented stem cell technology. He developed an immune-based therapy using natural killer cells in the context of longevity, demonstrating one of the first of its kind methods to reduce immunosenescence in humans. He also produced a regenerative medicine secretome/exosome topical that has disrupted the cosmetic rejuvenation space.
Dr Gonzalez has been in the regenerative medicine sector for over 20 years and has several scientific publications. He teaches worldwide for the American Academy of Antiaging on age related disorders, the immune system and cell therapeutics to maintain health and longevity. His focus has been on ways to slow down the biological clock both inside and out.
