1. Lauren Tabor Gray, Ph.D., CCC-SLP, is Director of the NSU Health Cathy J. Husman ALS Center and is an Assistant Professor at NSU’s Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Allopathic Medicine. Dr. Tabor Gray is also a Clinical Scientist and Speech-Language Pathologist.

The mission of her current research is to develop efficacious treatment regimens to improve cough function and airway clearance in individuals with ALS in effort to maintain respiratory function, oral intake and improve quality of life. Her research is funded by the Department of Defense, ALS Association Trials Capacity and Seed Grant Programs and the President's Faculty Research Development Grant.

2. Eduardo Locatelli, M.D., M.P.H., is the Medical Director of the NSU Health David and Cathy Husman Neuroscience Institute. Dr. Locatelli is also Director of the NSU Health Cathy J. Husman ALS Center. He is an Associate Professor at the NSU Dr. Kian C. Patel Colleges of Allopathic and Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Locatelli holds the title of David and Cathy Husman Endowed Chair for Neuroscience.

He has been a neurologist for over 25 years. His mission is to provide the best quality care to every patient and subsequent partner. His mission also includes working collaboratively to find cures to progressive neurodegenerative diseases such as ALS. He created and led multidisciplinary teams, merging clinical work with clinical research using real time data collection with tools to measure progress for personalized medicine.
