Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine if mature golfers who experience low back pain stretch during the course of the golf round. Also, this study will determine the variables that may correlate with low back pain in male golfers over the age of 50. This study intends to show if mature golfers are aware of the benefits of stretching and warm up prior to play. If they do not, then educating golfers will be evident. Educating the mature golfer about adequate stretching techniques and the importance of warm up will allow for self-management and decreased rates of injury.
