Abstract
POSTERIOR SHOULDER TIGHTNESS (PST) IS A COMMON IMPAIRMENT IMPLICATED IN THE ETIOLOGY OF SHOULDER PAIN. INDIVIDUALS PARTICIPATING IN ATHLETICS HAVE A PREDILECTION FOR PST, THUS INTERVENTIONS TO MITIGATE SUCH TIGHTNESS SHOULD BE INCORPORATED INTO TRAINING PROGRAMS. THIS COLUMN PRESENTS EXERCISES TO ADDRESS PST APPLICABLE TO THE ASYMPTOMATIC AND INJURED POPULATION.
