Abstract
A therapeutic gardening program was implemented to promote a holistic occupation with sensory-rich components to increase the physical and emotional skills of adult clients in an inpatient behavioral heath setting, which is needed to prepare for community reintegration. The program was implemented for adult clients in the facility, and also adapted to meet the needs of clients in the Specialty Care Unit.
