Abstract
The article discusses the role of athletic trainers in providing medical information and educating athletes about medical technologies in order to identify sport injuries. It reveals that athletic trainers should have complete knowledge of patients' medical history and should develop a rapport with athletes for proper understanding of medication. Lack of health literacy may lead to misrepresentation of medical information and poor patient compliance.
