Ismarie is the Faculty Nominated winner of the "Student of the Month for January, 2022". Ismarie is honored for:

• Leadership skills (Dean’s Ambassador, APhA Operation Immunization Committee, SSHP Professional Development Committee, liaison student of the pharmacy law course)
  
  
• Community involvement (Participated in health fairs at Farmacia Jardine, NSU’s Christmas end of year health fair, and with a community-based organization that provides food, clothing, and furniture to people in need)
  
  
• Research (Research collaboration with faculty, presented research poster at ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting)
  
  
• Advancement of the profession of pharmacy (participated in the Puerto Rico Pharmacist Annual Convention Booth and Conference, National Community Oncology Dispensing Association Summit, Puerto Rico Hospitals Association, active member of professional pharmacy organizations and organization-sponsored trainings and certifications)
