Eric is the Faculty and Peer-Nominated winner of the "Student of the Month for December, 2017" for:
- Involvement with multiple student organizations (SGA, SCCP, SSHSP, SNPhA, APhA and Phi Delta Chi Pharmaceutical Fraternity)
- Leadership roles such Class of 2018 Vice President (2014 – 2015), Clinical Coordinator of SNPhA, SGA Parliamentarian, and NSU Residence Advisor
- Organization in several training events for student vital sign and other skills development, as well as organizing and providing several health screenings
- Representing NSU at several local and national conferences including 2017 FPA Leadership Conference, 2017 Phi Delta Chi Leadership Retreat and the 2016 APhA National Conference
- Volunteering at several community events for fund raising (Dance for Down, Project Downtown) as well as immunization fairs
