Abstract

This qualitative research collected themes and factors of importance to Generation Y nurses related to nursing leadership roles. The findings from three focus groups were merged, sorted and grouped into thematic categories. Factors were weighted based on rankings (by group). Results were compared to original study (2003) with Generation X nurses.
