Description

This longitudinal action research study describes how a 50 person management staff, led by a committed CEO, was able successfully implement a team strategy to achieve a radical change from nonprofit hospital to a for profit organization over a 12 year period. Many of the issues addressed and practical steps taken to establish a team based leadership model for the new organizational template are described. Organizational development assessment, diagnosis, and intervention phases, along with specific practices and processes to establish a team based leadership model are described.
