Abstract
From time to time, a student proposes conducting a study that focuses upon preparing today’s students for tomorrow’s workplace. Whereas the goal is noble, it has an insurmountable problem: What will the workplace look like in a decade? One answer is as good as the next but none has credibility. Just about every college graduate who is out of school more than 20 years will confirm that his college experience did not envision the reality of today.
