The secrets of shark biology, biodiversity, specializations and need for protection. Mahmood Shivji is Professor in the Dept. of Biological Sciences at Nova Southeastern University (NSU) Florida. He serves as Director of the Guy Harvey Research Institute and the Save Our Seas Foundation Shark Research Center. His three decades of research leadership in many species of sharks span the disciplines from ecology to genetics to conservation to whole genome annotation of the great white shark. His stories offer a mix of science, adventure, and conservation of so many misunderstood species. He’ll straighten this out.
