The strategic research project aims to assess the effectiveness of hospital operations inimproving patient safety culture. This study delves into critical analysis, problem definition, research of possible solutions, selection of the best solution, strategies to accomplish the selected solution, evaluation of the strategy, development of an action plan, and an audio-visual presentation. The project emphasizes the researcher's role, the organizational background and history, mission, vision, and value statements, as well as SWOT analysis and internal and external factor evaluations. Furthermore, it focuses on synthesizing literature related to the problem, research methods, pertinent models or theories, a summary of findings, the context and significance of the problem, and a well-defined problem statement. The research project evaluates multiple potential solutions such as Just Culture, Organizational Learning, Patient-Centered Collaboration, andHospital Accreditation, discussing their pros, cons, and barriers.
Additionally, it presents strategies to accomplish the chosen solution and evaluates their effectiveness through quantitative strategic plan matrices. Furthermore, the project entails an action plan, including steps, timeline, roles, resources, support, barriers, evaluation,and an audio-visual presentation.
