Let’s Talk eLearning is a regular podcast by Dr. LeRoy Hill, Dean of the School of Distance Learning at the University of Southern Caribbean. This podcast series shares success tips on eLearning and online teaching excellence. Dr. Hill’s most recent podcast features Dr. Michael Simonson, professor in the Fischler College of Education and Criminal Justice at NSU. Dr. Simonson shares his insights about Equivalency Theory and its relation to distance education. Dr. Simonson first proposed Equivalency Theory in 1999 and for twenty years it has been a significant organizational factor for the design of distance education courses and programs.
