Abstract

Nova Southeastern University is pleased to announce the approval of Professor Emeritus status for Dr. Jim Barry, honoring his more than 20 years of dedicated service to the H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship. Dr. Barry joined NSU in 2004 and has since distinguished himself through outstanding scholarship, innovative teaching, and meaningful service. A prolific researcher, he has authored over 30 peer‑reviewed articles, published award‑winning studies in top journals, and written the influential book Social Content Marketing for Entrepreneurs. His work in digital marketing, social media, and global market dynamics has earned significant academic impact. Dr. Barry is also known for his forward‑thinking teaching practices, integrating interactive and multimodal learning tools that enrich student engagement. His leadership in developing digital marketing curricula and supporting new academic programs has left a lasting mark on the university.
