Iksita Nallapaneni is a 24-year-old medical student with an unyielding passion for art. Although it has been difficult throughout medical school to prioritize art, she has worked to incorporate it into her work when she can. When creating her preferred mediums are charcoal, ink, and digital art! Iksita wishes to continue pursuing her artistic passions and take art more seriously, re-centering it as a focal point in her life.

Abstract
Artist Statement
"Many artworks mimic the artist or the life they have led, and the same can be said for this one. 'Florals' depicts my growth and change over the past two transformative years. I have learned that the sun continues to rise and set regardless of life's circumstances, and sometimes the best thing you can do for yourself is to stop and enjoy the flowers. Life moves too quickly to not be present in the moment, and I hope this piece inspires others to do the same."
