Nicole Gomez lives in South Florida and is currently studying at Nova Southeastern University. She is a junior art + design major with a concentration in graphic design and minor in studio art. Her favorite medium is drawing, both traditionally and digitally. She works for her university’s newspaper, The Current, as a graphic designer and a comic artist.

Abstract
Artist Statement
"'On the Farm' tells the story of a relaxing summer in the countryside. This piece uses collaged elements, such as handmade paper, pressed flowers, and fabric, to create a variety of patterns and textures. Overall, I wanted the piece to have a vintage feel and resemble a pillow or quilt you would find in an old home."
