Elisha Mendoza was born in New Jersey and moved to Florida with her family in 2017. Mendoza currently lives in Miramar and attends college at Nova Southeastern University as an art & design major with a concentration in studio art. Mendoza is also minoring in music and business.

Abstract
"This piece was one of the photographs I took for my photography final. My final was divided into three themes, one of which is called 'Lost.' The yarn is supposed to represent one being stuck and tangled in a dark place and period in their life, hence the black background."
