Abstract
This capstone review paper will focus on the golden crab. The purpose of this paper is to: 1) summarize current knowledge of the basic biology, ecology, and life history of the golden crab,· 2) summarize past golden crab fisheries data and use this information to evaluate the current state of the golden crab fishery, 3) and provide a foundation for the development of a clear set of goals for future research on the golden crab. The overall aim of this capstone review paper is to provide a review of the current literature on the golden crab in order to provide a stepping stone for the successful management of this species.
