The third HCNSO Life Sciences Research Symposium (Formerly OC Jamboree will take place February 10-11 2020).  NSU graduate students and research scientists will highlight current life science research projects currently ongoing at the Guy Harvey Oceanographic Center and Halmos College Of Natural Sciences and Oceanography. Faculty, postdocs and graduate students will present technical summaries of current research that cover a wide array of diverse marine topics: physical oceanography, coral reefs, microbiology, synthetic biology, larval ecology, bill fish, shark tracking, marine genomics, marine diseases, invertebrate physiology, evolution among others. This year we are pleased to host keynote speaker presentations from three US National Academy of Sciences members - Drs. Nancy Knowlton, Jeremy Jackson and Stephen J. O'Brien.
