NSU Experience

The biology program at NSU provided a great foundation of coursework and research before I started medical school. Many of the courses, like biochemistry and immunology, gave me a head start on the information I'd be learning in medical school at a much faster pace. Additionally, my interest in environmental toxicology that began during my research with Dr. Gao has carried over into my medical school career, where I’m continuing research in endocrinology as a part of my capstone project at Quinnipiac University. Now that I’m a third year student, I’m very grateful for all of the support and encouragement I received from my professors and mentors at NSU.
