NSU Experience
My name is Nicholas Carris and I am pharmacist and assistant professor at the University of South Florida. I formerly attended NSU as an undergraduate dual admissions student, where I acquired a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. During my time at NSU, I also had the opportunity to play collegiate baseball. NSU provided me a world class foundation to launch me into pharmacy school and beyond. The small class sizes helped me establish relationships with professors and peers. What’s amazing is being able to look at all the impressive accomplishments that my old study groups have racked up. I’m thankful for my time at NSU which has enabled me to have a career I love, to work with students, to teach pharmacy, to advocate for patients, to build a better health care system, to publish my own original research, and to work with the National Academies to address the opioid overdose crisis.
