Hi! My name is Melanie Fraidenburg and I completed my undergraduate training in NSU's biology program. Looking back at my undergrad experience, I'm very grateful to have had great mentors and professors who had a real passion for science! This was displayed in their teaching and mentoring styles and in their enthusiasm towards their own research areas/projects. This has inspired me to continue my academic and professional career in the sciences! I'm also grateful to have been in a supportive and collaborative environment made up of faculty and fellow students which also enriched my learning experience at NSU. Overall, the NSU Halmos College gave me the support and equipped me with the skills necessary to succeed in my future education and career!
