NSU Experience

NSU had taught much more than I expected in and outside of the classroom. As I had embarked on my journey to pursue medical school, I enjoyed getting to know my classmates as we continued to challenge each other by taking the same classes and sharing our future goals. I soon realized, after participating in the Science Alive program for the second year, that my goals had changed and that I wanted to become a teacher. The biology program at NSU prepared me for the certification tests and allowed me to become a highly qualified teacher of Biology. All in all, NSU showed me the importance of support from colleagues in the work place and to be open minded to changes in your career goals and passions.
