NSU Experience

NSU provided me with a plethora of opportunities such as research, community service, as well as internships in order to truly grow as a strong student as well as a future physician. I had many great mentors such as Dr. Saleem, Dr. Shanbhag, and Dr. Schmitt who always went out of their way to push me to be a well rounded student. The student organizations I helped lead as well as the Honors Program I was a part of were memorable experiences. The Biology program has so far given me a solid foundation for medical school and I cannot wait to see what medical school has in store for me. I am thankful for the close knit society NSU provided to me as well as the relationships I developed with the faculty as well as the students.
