Description

Dr. Steve Terrell recently concluded an NSU grant-funded, year-long study with the Palm Beach County School District. Collaborating with a colleague from the NSU College of Nursing, the study focused on increasing STEM awareness and interest by minority, middle school females in a Title I school. Results from the study indicate tremendous growth in these areas. Recently Dr. Terrell and his collaborators was selected to receive the 2019 Presidential Quality of Life grant for the continuation and expansion of the program within the school district.
