Project Overview: NSU President Ray Ferrero Jr., J.D., unveiled a magnificent 17-foot high bronze mako shark sculpture, which was placed at the Don Taft University Center entrance. Crafted by famed international wildlife sculptor Kent Ullberg, the sculpture depicts a leaping mako shark - the university's mascot - rising above a bronze wave of water, in a 10-foot-high fountain. Weighing 3,000 pounds, the creation also contains 76 individually sculpted teeth cast in polished stainless steel and welded in. Completion Date: February, 2010
