Description
Project Overview: Dryland workouts are an essential training tool for competitive swimmers and divers today, offering a wide range of exercises for swimmers and reducing the stress of water impact on the diver's body. Directly connected to the pool deck, the Dryland Training facility at the NSU Aquatics Center is a state of the art training facility which enables student swimmers and divers to practice without using the swimming/diving pool and isolates specific skills. Fabric structures provide shade over the outdoor training area, which includes two trampolines and two springboards for diving training, as well as strength machines for swimmers, a large space for mat exercises and three storage areas.
