CAHSS Inclusive Campus Conversations
During the 2019-2020 Academic Year, the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (CAHSS) is offering a forum called Inclusive Campus Conversations for graduate and undergraduate students, as well as professors and staff, at a venue for the entire NSU community to come together and exchange ideas, insights and experiences. This forum has its roots in two former CAHSS programs, Diversity Dialogues, which was founded in 2006, and Intellectual Conversations, starting in Fall 2015 but itself growing out of a lecture program called Faculty Lecture Series which started in 2007. Inclusive Campus Conversations takes place once a month; topics and speakers vary, but we hope that the perspectives and insights of students, faculty, staff, and alumni, as well as community members, will make each conversation meaningful, thought-provoking, and educational. Inclusive Campus Conversations provides all Sharks an opportunity to engage with at least three of NSU's core values: Academic Excellence, Diversity, and Community. If you have suggestions for upcoming conversations and would like to be among the presenters, please contact Associate Professor Stephen Levitt at levitts@nova.edu or Associate Professor Robin Cooper at robicoop@nova.edu
This collection is no longer archived under the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (as of July 2020 - a part of the Halmos College of Arts and Sciences), but instead has transitioned to a campus-wide Inclusion and Diversity Council that archives its documents here.
