Description
NSU’s College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences (CAHSS), in collaboration with the Alvin Sherman Library, hosted an interactive workshop entitled, “We Love our Family: Fun tips for Resolving Conflict and Getting Along!” This is the third year that the “We Love our Family,” workshop was being offered.
This interactive workshop was designed for family members, including children. We all have issues that can lead to conflict and relationship difficulties. The workshop explored tips that can help us deal with these issues and resolve conflict for better communication for more peaceful families.
Peace Place, a part of Community Resolution Services (CRS) in CAHSS provided presenters to help participants explore good communication creatively. CRS is a practicum and volunteer site for students to collaborate and engage the community. The library shared suggestions for books for children, youths, adults, and families to read more about communication and its role in getting along.
