Timothy Scala, Psy.D., is an Assistant Professor and Program Director of the Bachelor of Science Degree in Recreational Therapy in the Abraham S. Fischler College of Education's Department of Human Services. He is also a Licensed Clinical Psychologist/Supervisor at the School-related Psychological Assessments and Clinical Interventions (SPACI) clinic within the College of Psychology. He received his Doctoral and Masters Degrees in clinical psychology from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelors of Science Degree in psychology from Florida State University. Dr. Scala is also a member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and the American College of Forensic Examiners in which he is a Certified Forensic Consultant (CFC).
Brittany Schulman, M.S., is a fifth year doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at NSU. Brittany received her Bachelor’s degree from Florida State University in 2013 and is currently completing her Internship in Clinical Psychology at NSU’s Psychology Services Center, specializing in school-related comprehensive psychological evaluations. She has previously provided services for a variety of developmental, behavioral, and emotional challenges including attention and executive functioning, anxiety, depression, and autism spectrum disorders. Brittany has also completed clinical work providing services for individuals with anxiety and anxiety-related disorders such as social anxiety disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, and specific phobias.
Chelsea Walton, M.S., is a fifth-year doctoral student in clinical psychology. She is currently a psychology intern at NSU’s Psychology Services Center. Chelsea’s past clinical experiences include conducting comprehensive psychological/psychoeducational evaluations and providing evidence-based individual therapy to children and adolescents with trauma histories, mood disorders, and behavioral concerns. Additionally, she has experience in providing individual therapy to underserved populations and adults with chronic mental illness. Her clinical interests include providing services for individuals with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, learning disorders, autism spectrum disorder, depression, anxiety, and trauma.
