This essay is a review of the musical, Into the Woods, and the book, The Perks of Being a Wallflower. This personal reflection is an overview of how both works of art navigate the theme of "the web of life."

About the Artist
Anjali Shah is a current medical student at KPCOM. Prior to medical school, she attended Emory College of Arts and Sciences where she completed a double major in Neuroscience and Music Performance. She has a Master's in Public Health from Emory University's Rollins School of Public Health. In her free time, she loves to watch movies and musicals, play the guitar, and immerse herself in nature.
