Artist Statement

I wrote this poem to reflect the way I believe a lot of first-year medical students feel. The internal conflict that arises within ourselves. I personally have doubted whether I am good enough to be where I am today and I know I am not alone in that feeling. A million people could tell you that you are good enough, but it doesn't matter unless you believe that for yourself. I think it is important to take time to reflect and remember even when it is difficult, that you can do it, and that you are worthy.
