Harris Whitfield "Whit" Hudson (October 1, 1942 – November 23, 2018) was a prominent South Florida waste management mogul, real estate investor, and philanthropist. He was inducted into the Nova Southeastern University (NSU) Entrepreneur and Business Hall of Fame in 2001.

As a boy growing up in Tennessee, Whit Hudson just seemed to have a fondness for collecting junk, as his family would put it. His father had worked with the same company for 30 years when, in 1955, he brought the family to Fort Lauderdale. Whit, an only child, learned the importance of a strong work ethic very early. He began working at the age of 13 and had never really stopped.
