Description

The Weber Summer Scholar Program is a 6- week shadowing program fo r college students or high school seniors interested in the medical field. It is held at Cl eveland Clinic Florida from June to July. Students will shadow physicians in various specialties in 2- week rotations. This will allow students to witness, first h and, the daily life of not only physicians, but other medical professionals too (e.g. ph ysician assistants, radiology techs, nurses, paramedics etc.). Students will als o interact with several medical students and residents, and they will be able to make conn ections with various individuals in the field. A final case presentation is required a s part of completion of the program. Applications will open in February and are du e in March.

Comments

The trick to the treat of an internship or research fair is an annual event presented by the Halmos College of Natural Sciences and Oceanography and NSU’s Office of Career Development. The event showcases the many internship opportunities offered by NSU to its undergraduate students.
