Abstract
The purpose of this project was to develop a predictive instrument that will be used to identify women, from diverse racial/ethnic groups, who may be least likely to participate in mammography screening. Themes identified from three prior qualitative studies served as the 4 foundation for the development of the instrument, which resulted in a 33-item scale that will offer greater relevance to the population for which it was designed. This presentation is based on my 2011 TQR paper.
