Abstract
338 patients (average age 40 yrs; normal, psychiatric, or brain damaged) completed the Luria-Nebraska Neuropsychological Battery. The intercorrelations between the Writing scale items and all other items suggest the interpretive usefulness of the scale in determining the potential localization of brain injury in the left temporal-parietal-occipital area, especially in and around the angular gyrus.
