Abstract
Examined the role of circulating levels of tryptophan or tyrosine in feeding entrainment of activity in goldfish. Results do not support the view that dietary amino acid precursors of central nervous system (CNS) neurotransmitters may be directly involved with feeding entrainment of circadian rhythms.
