WRIT 4000: Looking into the Past

WRIT 4000

These images combining views of NSU's past and present were taken as part of a Winter 2016 class project in WRIT 4000 - Writing for Technologies, taught by Dr. Eric Mason of the Department of Writing and Communication at NSU. Visual media allow us access to places and memories from long ago. The project was designed to allow students to reflect on the role of digital archives and physical spaces in our lives, and their ability to evoke responses ranging from intellectual insight to emotional nostalgia. Thanks to NSU Archivist Michele Gibney for encouraging and facilitating this project.

Introduction authored by Dr. Eric Mason.
