Teaching Strategies and the Development of a Psychology Learning Environment

In this paper three teaching strategies and learning outcomes are examined among college students (N=22) enrolled in an applied psychology course which emphasizes the understanding of the principles of effective human behavior. Findings support that students learned main content areas but were demonstrating challenges in combining this information for broader and more in-depth understanding.
