Abstract

Tooran Popal is the General Manager of Sunnyvale Ford in California, which also includes Lincoln and Mercury. He directs all dealership operations at this multimillion dollar organization with 140 employees. He is responsible for all aspects of business including profitability, sales, marketing, advertising, and variable and fixed operations. Popal brought the dealership from a loss of one million dollars to one million dollars in profit within one year and turned it into the most profitable Ford dealership in northern California in 2011. In a declining market, Sunnyvale had a 27% annual sales increase.
