Inductee Biography

Mr. Hudson spent most of his professional career in the waste business, starting with Southern Sanitation working with his brother-in-law, Wayne Huizenga. He left Waste Management to start Hudson Management Corp which grew to the largest private waste hauler in central and south Florida. The company was merged with Republic Industries where Whit and Wayne teamed up again to consolidate the waste business. Never fully retiring, he and son Steve worked side by side since 1997 in many different ventures at Hudson Capital Group. Whit was a true sportsman and loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing were his passion. His most recent endeavor was Quail Creek Plantation in Okeechobee, Florida.
