Abstract

This article will present issues relative to conflict and the supervisory relationship. Sources of conflict are discussed and viewpoints that people hold relative to conflict are examined. Conflict management styles are presented, and positive and not-so-positive styles are identified. Conflict management techniques are discussed, which will provide the supervisor and supervisee tools for the supervisory relationship.
