Defining culture, individual introspective on culture, and the shaping of learning and instruction by culture will also be discussed. This study also sought to learn more about teachers teaching mathematics and whether they recognized and considered students’ culture(s) while designing their lessons. Face-to-face semi-structured interviews were used for data collection.
