Abstract

We, a professor & 3 Ph.D. students, transformed our qualitative research knowledge through writing a chapter on qualitative perspectives in classroom discourse & interaction research. Our qualitative practices developed as the scope for the paper formulated, information was gathered & analyzed, findings discussed, & reflection took place. We deepened our knowledge of data analysis & importance of transparency, & explored the dialogic learning opportunities by writing for specific audiences.
