Abstract
Hybrid instruction (HY) is defined by Garrison and Vaughan as the “thoughtful fusion of face-to-face (F2F) and on-line (OL) learning experiences.” The greatest challenges in converting courses from F2F to HY is determining the most effective HY instructional strategies and intertwining OL and F2F content into a meaningful whole. The purpose of this report is to describe the curricular design process and outcomes when converting a F2F medical pathology course to HY.
