Abstract

Economic constraints often are the deciding factor in academic decisions that require substantial funding. The demise of thousands of dot com companies coupled with the migration of information technology (IT) jobs overseas have impacted negatively upon graduate education in computer science and IT everywhere. University administrators are under pressure and that pressure filters down to the faculty.
