Abstract
This is the third editorial in this volume about online collaboration. The first focused on engagement with the express purpose of improving learning by observing how one’s peers address the various tasks within a graduate course. The second looked beyond formal learning to the many forms that collaboration takes across society. Collaboration and teamwork, the words in the title, are almost synonyms but the latter is a subset of the former and deserves to be examined through its own lens.
