Executive Summary

This strategic research project is aimed at equipping ABC Elementary with a comprehensive action plan to address persistent achievement gaps in science. At its core is a commitment to fostering a culture of inquiry, and to achieve this, the research project strategically employs the innovative 5E Inquiry Learning Model. This model serves as a dynamic solution to bridge existing gaps, providing a framework for engagement, exploration, explanation, elaboration, and evaluation.

The strategic research project encompasses a research-based action plan that not only identifies the challenges faced by ABC Elementary but also outlines a detailed and feasible timeline for the implementation of proposed solutions. The dedication to scholarly inquiry is evident throughout, with a commendable commitment to effecting positive change in educational outcomes. Beyond the 5E Inquiry Learning Model, various additional avenues were explored, including blended learning strategies and targeted teacher professional development initiatives. Recognizing the importance of scientific literacy, the strategic pathway that emerges from this research encourages scholars to embark on a perpetual quest for knowledge and understanding.

Throughout the project, a meticulous strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) analysis was conducted, thoroughly evaluating both internal and external factors. This analysis was instrumental in defining the problem and guiding the subsequent research and proposed solutions. The iterative process of revisiting and reevaluating these factors ensured a nuanced understanding of the context in which the project unfolded. "Empowering Scholars to Never Stop Questioning" stands not only as a scholarly endeavor but as a dynamic blueprint for positive transformation in educational practices, fostering a community of lifelong learners at ABC Elementary.
